connect rfi & submittal due dates

For the past 5 years, the majority of contractors have adjusted how they track the due dates of Submittal documentation, using solutions such as Procore. No one thought to tell the schedule.

Grit replaces the Submittal WBS section at the top of most schedules by importing Submittals from Procore and allowing them to be assigned to all associated activities. These create Procurement Lead Lines, which subtract the Shakeout/Preparation, Fabrication & Delivery, and Review durations to calculate all due dates. Should you choose, Grit can update all of these dates within Procore each time a schedule is activated.

RFIs are also assignable to activities so the time impact of these requests can be fully realized.

Submittals are tracked on the Procurement Kanban board to update the progress of Approving each submittal, and ordering, delivering every material usage following that.

Explore the power of grit
All parties can filter by Scope, Submittal, RFI, Material or Equipment making this a dynamic, explorable experience.
1, 3, and 6-week Lookaheads allow teams to focus on the near term. Filtering and search allow for enhanced analysis.
Connect Submittals and RFIs from Procore directly to activities, allowing live tracking of material and information procurement throughout the schedule.
Using Kanban Board or Flow views, Grit feeds your schedule through a backlog of work for commitments, starts and completions…
Import your BIM elements to connect to schedule activities to visualize and coordinate work areas and quantify resource usage.
Similar to 4D, teams can draw their workspace for each activity to visualize sequence and mitigate against congestion.
